Day 2 Sidetrip: Sidlakang Negros Village

April 30, 011

We were done at Forest Camp at around 430pm. We then, headed to Tierra Alta, because we wanted to try their zipline. But the subdivision was closed when we go their because they were catering a Wedding reception. I felt bad, it was perfect for sunset. Anyhow, Kuya Rene uplifted our spirits by taking us to Sidlakang Negros Village, Negros’ tourism spot. I’ve read about this place but I did not include it in our itinerary because I did not have pictures of the place.

Sidlakang Negros is a village with creative houses represented by different towns of Negros. According to Kuya Rene, these houses are designed to compete with each other, every October of the year. I thought the place was cool! And, of course, what else but pictures!

making fun of the statue was... fun! hehehe ;p

I’ve never enjoyed picture taking this much in my life. LOL. I’m not a picture person but that afternoon was just light and fun. We decided to tackle the missed zipline the next day. We finished up the tour with our bought pasalubong – a pack of yummy, choco-coated polvoron sold inside the village.

Day 2 was a blast! We couldn’t believe how the time has passed so slowly. today Is it always like that in the province? ;p

none (no entrance fee)

We then headed back to Vintage Inn and seeing Mang Inasal just across the street, we only felt tired and decided we just ate there.

P 200 – miscellaenuous (water, etc)

Back to the Inn, chilled, relaxed… 😉
